SoHaSo gives you five goodies from the Lowlands, to celebrate summer. Something old, something new, something for everyone.

First up is the b-side to the house classic everyone in the Benelux knows: Mary Go Wild. The flip to to this epic club single from 1996 is a stripped down and rather moody groove affair. "It's gonna be allright", Fung-Kee sings over some melancholic strings. Indeed it did.

New material comes from label boss Nuno dos Santos, who makes us look in the mirror of the past. That time when synths like the Alpha Juno ruled the radio waves. Straight up club music for all those cats who shed a tear over classic Ame-records.

Remy from Den Haag is proper old school. Besides a very skilled dj, he's also an experienced producer, with releases on Belgian labels like Global Cuts and Wonka. Westkust brings us back to those days. Sun drenched, piano-driven housemusic with a great punch and beautiful strings.

Bushwalking by Belgium collective Mayuku has a bit of a similar vibe. With it's dubby baslines and echo-ing melodies it sure unlocks the same summer feelings.

Closer “Do We Have A Cosmic Connection” by Far Out Radio Systems is a lifted from his album from 2020. The sun has gone down but the pavement in the city still radiates the heat of the day. That kinda vibe.
